What You Take / You Carry was created as a reminder that every experience—good or bad—becomes part of who we are. Every person who sees these words brings their own story, making this piece deeply personal without ever saying more than it needs to.

Handcrafted in Michigan from reclaimed pallet wood, every set begins with lumber that has already lived a life of its own. Knots, nail holes, grain patterns, weathering, saw marks, and natural imperfections are intentionally preserved, giving each piece authentic character that simply can't be manufactured.

No two sets are ever identical.

Each board is individually cleaned, sanded, assembled, hand-finished, and painted by hand before receiving the Bad Luck Bourbon Co. signature mark.
